Planned giving impacts generations. We deeply appreciate donors whose gifts that began several years ago, are still helping to sustain Mission Network today. When you make this long-term investment in us, you help ensure that God’s work through Mission Network’s programs, partnerships, and personnel will have an enduring impact.
Planned giving is not for the financially wealthy only. Anyone, no matter what assets they have, through thoughtful planning can give a gift which will be a blessing and provide sustainability to Mission Network. Together, we can help individuals and congregations to recognize, develop and fulfill the ministry calling that God has given to them.
How can I get involved?
There are many different ways to leave a legacy through planned giving. Explore the options below to find the method that’s right for you.
Bequests – A bequest gift is accomplished by including Mennonite Mission Network in your will.
Donating IRA distributions – Considered a qualified charitable distribution. Giving to Mission Network from your traditional IRA not only supports the agency, it also will lower your overall taxable income.

Donating your IRA or 401(k) – Donating your traditional IRA, 401(k), or 403(b) to Mission Network prevents your family or other beneficiaries from paying substantial taxes.

Donor advised fund – A donor advised fund is an account that allows you to schedule how and when your donated assets in the account should be dispersed to your favorite charities.
Farm commodities – This special opportunity for farmers allows the proceeds from sales of grain, livestock, or even honey to go directly to Mission Network. The gift is not recognized as taxable income for you. Additionally, you can deduct the cost of production of the donated commodity.
Gift annuities – A gift annuity provides you with payments for life, tax advantages, and allows you to free yourself from managing funds that you intend to eventually give away.
Gifts of securities – Donating market securities, like stocks or shares, allows you to avoid the hassle of turning your market gains into cash without losing those gains to taxes.
