LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Mennonite Media) Burton Buller and Shirley Struchen, producer and executive producer, respectively, of the documentary "Building on Faith: Making Poverty Housing History," recently received “Best of Class” in the DeRose-Hinkhouse Awards for broadcast video from the Religion Communicators Council.
Buller is director of Mennonite Media, a department of Mennonite Mission Network, and Struchen works as a liaison with the National Council of Churches in supplying TV programming to national TV networks for the NCC through the Interfaith Broadcasting Commission.
The awards honor the late Victor DeRose and Paul M. Hinkhouse, leading lithographers in New York City. A complete list of the 2007 DeRose-Hinkhouse award winners can be found at the Religion Communicators Council Web site.
