On May 15, friends of Mennonite Mission Network celebrated the Day of Prayer for mission around the world. Facebook messages from as far away as Ghana asked for prayer for the mission of their local congregations.
In Elkhart, Ind., members of Hively Mennonite Church dedicated two hours of prayerful conversation on Wednesday night.
Easton Camp, a Service Adventure participant in Colorado Springs, Colo., is helping to lead a 24-hour prayer vigil at Beth-El Mennonite Church this weekend.
“Our hope is that the Day of Prayer created space for intentional prayer for God’s mission, but to also listen to how God maybe calling us to join in the work,” said Kelsey Hochstetler, Day of Prayer coordinator.
