DOOR Names Tonya Greene as Atlanta city director

Atlanta – DOOR (Discovering Opportunities for Outreach and Reflection) announces Tonya Greene as DOOR Atlanta’s city director. Greene will spearhead DOOR’s continued growth and development in Atlanta and facilitate meaningful experiences for participants in each of DOOR’s programs—Discover, Discern and Dwell.

Greene is an experienced educator who majored in education at Georgia State University and holds a master’s degree in education from Central Michigan University. She has been an elementary school teacher; an outreach coordinator for Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies; and also taught history at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Atlanta.

DOOR provides opportunities for service, learning and leadership development within an urban context and hosts volunteers from a weekend to a year, providing opportunities for individuals and groups. DOOR is partners with Mennonite Mission Network  and Presbyterian Church USA’s Young Adult Volunteer program.
