Mennonite Mission Network funding appeal to encourage active peacemakers

ELKHART, Ind. — Mennonite Mission Network has launched its “Mobilize for Peace” funding appeal to inspire support of active peacemaking in the United States and abroad.

The goal is to raise an additional $350,000 by July 31, 2026, the end of the current fiscal year.

For all who are concerned about the current state of the world, this Anabaptist Christian agency provides ways for you to actively live out your faith in Jesus to make a difference in communities.

Mission Network seeks the engagement of new supporters. Current loyal donors are encouraged to increase their recurring gifts or to add a special one-time donation to help reach this vital goal.

“Pursuing peace is our work, because Jesus Christ calls us all to be peacemakers,” said Karen Horsman, Director of Development. “The impact of community divisions and wars has increased our need for financial support that allows us to respond with flexibility wherever the need is greatest.”

Mission Network connects individuals, congregations, and partner agencies, to spread God’s love through active peacemaking efforts in 177 locations across the United States and around the world.

Gifts to the Mennonite Mission Network Fund provide essential flexible funding that can be directed immediately to the most urgent programs and initiatives to:

“We’re hearing from people who are experiencing conflicts in their communities and seek Christian-based peace alternatives,” said Executive Director Marisa Smucker. “We take seriously our call to be peacemakers.
