 About Youth Venture

Youth Venture is a short-term service and learning program for individuals ages 15–22. For two to three weeks each summer, participants join teams of peers and leaders to actively explore and engage in God's work in the world. 

  • Gain a broader understanding and respect for other cultures and customs.
  • Learn from faith communities around the world.
  • Embrace the call to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God.


Wishing your summer looked a little more global? Registering with Youth Venture is easy!

  1. Register before the deadline.
  2. Provide two references.
  3. Participate in a short conversation. 


You can select your top choices on the registration form, then we will contact you to talk about your top picks and match you with a team.

Depending on your location, you will stay with host families or in guest houses.

Participants are asked to raise funds to cover the cost of orientation, travel to the assignment, in-country travel, lodging and food.

Participants also are responsible for costs involving:

  • Health insurance
  • Any necessary immunizations
  • Passport
  • Travel to the departure city (international tours) or host location (domestic tours)
